Network Blocks
set flag
Raises one of the 64 event flags on the local board.
Network
set flagflag3
| Range | Usage |
|---|---|
| 1 – 32 | Free — user scripts, PC commands, NET relay |
| 33 – 64 | Reserved: auto-set by spike detection (channel ch → flag 33 + ch) |
Flag Semantics
Flags are one-shot booleans: SET raises to 1, TAKE/consume reads and atomically clears to 0.
This means each set event produces exactly one consume-triggered response, regardless of loop speed.
LOOP ~1 kHz
Control
if flagflag33modeconsume
Debug
say"spike on ch0"
NET command
Sends a raw UDP command to another board on the network.
Network
NET commandip"192.168.1.21"cmd"FLAG SET 3"
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Target IP | IP address of the target board |
| Command | Any valid UDP command text, at most 107 bytes. It may contain $name, replaced when the block runs by the current value of the variable name (signed decimal), for example "FLAG SET $n". |
Example — Trigger cascade
LOOP ~1 kHz
Control
if flagflag1modeconsume
Network
NET commandip"192.168.1.21"cmd"FLAG SET 3"
Board A's script triggers Board B whenever flag 1 fires. Board B's script can then react to flag 3.
See Multi-Board Workflows and Event Flags for full details.
